We often speak of success, but imbedded in the term is a hint of approval and expectation from others. Prosperity consciousness implies unity in understanding, a shift in human awareness and conscious evolution.
This shift implies a collective awakening of human connection to Source and universal cooperation.
Of course we are not there, but could be close. More importantly our survival as a species will depend on choices made in the very near future.
We speak as a collective about poverty and fighting poverty and disadvantage. Yet with technology and creature comforts abounding, we have never lived better. Many of us at least.
Humans all want the same thing. Comforts of family and loved ones, freedom from want of shelter and food, a way to contribute to society, and freedom to control destiny. Source offers the abundance of air, water, earth and sun. Evolution called us to this place and now evolution of consciousness is calling the human family to go a step further. If we don't heed the call, we could be on the precipice of destruction. We now have the ability to do that, not only with weapons, but with the stresses on Source caused by human un-consciousness. Without human arrogance though, the planet will survive. It does not need us. It is the opposite that is true.
We have a choice as resources become scarce and that is to wake up. Water is already considered a strained resource and we can easily imagine a frightening existence with conflict over this weakening resource. The reality is playing out in distressed areas of our planet.
Misery in the world is growing despite our knowledge and progress. Wisdom is ancient, but rhetoric is more popular. Humans let just a few make decisions for them and many if not most of the leaders they choose or in many instances forced upon them make decisions with their personal limited self interest in mind.
An opportunity and idea for individual freedom and democracy was birthed, fought for and developed into a country we call the United States of America. There was an understanding of what that struggle was about, but we are losing our understanding and getting lost in the rhetoric of so called leaders that divide and distort for personal advantage. We are regressing. Ben Franklin's comment when asked after the American Revolution "what do we have here?" speaks volumes when he wisely spoke, "A republic, if you can keep it." Not a democracy, but a "republic" he states.
Plato spoke over two thousand years ago about the "republic" as an ideal state. A republic in the founders' mind was a "commonwealth" whereby the power rests within the citizens. So if the common wealth is the dedicated ideal, citizens must to some extent work to create a society dedicated to the common good. True democracy is a participatory form of government where each citizen will educate themselves on issues of the common good; each working for the larger whole which in turn benefits each individual. But if each citizen participates only with a trip to the voting booth on election day to elect the leader that promises the most for that individual or like group, the republic and democracy are both lost. Selfish leaders know this and lead hapless citizens over the cliff with promises that will be broken when their place in power is secured. They are skilled at knowing the weaknesses in human nature. These leaders also deceive themselves as well and get caught up in their illusion of superiority, buying into the deceit that secured their power.
If we are all pulling for our own self interest and not that of the collective benefit of all, we are like animals merely struggling for survival. But we depend upon each other more than we sometimes realize.
In all of the humans that have existed and lived on earth, there are a precious few that created prosperity and ideas that benefit the whole. And there is a part of that whole who spend time in forgetful comfort and assumed entitlement dismissing those who create success and prosperity as the greedy who must give up more to those who are "disadvantaged". This is NOT prosperity consciousness.
Prosperity consciousness must first exist as a new thought. Awareness of true reality grows and becomes part of an educational system throughout a culture and then transcend into the world and human family as a whole. New thinking as it manifested itself in the late eighteenth century must be re-visited with deep consideration and logic and not the mental masturbation of false intellectualism.
Gratitude will come as a result of the "new" thought and the value of possibility will start to elevated from a place of darkness and distortion.
Prosperity Consciousness starts with awareness, appreciation and connection to Source and Evolution. We came here against all odds and we evolved through some mystery of Divine generosity. We must learn first to be grateful. As we learn again to work toward enlightenment, mind and heart must be in unison. All of able body and mind must participate. We must purge political rhetoric of the disguised bigotry whereby burdening programs which only serve to limit and not empower are created for the short term benefit of the politicians.
Discipline must be reintroduced into education and excuses and mediocrity removed. The young must first be taught how to think, not what to think. Humanity needs re-creation through freedom and understanding of birthright. Those truths are self-evident. With the ability of thinking enhanced, the self-interested that come to leadership will be exposed and we will not be blinded by rhetoric in leadership that often states the opposite of their true intent.
Success is an individual experience. Prosperity consciousness can infect a culture the the extent that it is accepted, incorporated into thinking and therefore a benefit to all. Money is a man made tool and you become its slave when you idealize it and work for it. Those who understand prosperity know that money money work for them. When we work at what we love to do with our full attention and talent monetary reward is realized and knowledge of true prosperity grows within.
So start the shift now by awareness and gratitude to those Edisons, Einsteins, Jeffersons, and Platos. Forget what Apple pays in taxes or what the Koch brothers contribute to political campaigns and be grateful for the contributions they bestowed with their foundations and innovations. Those who achieve true prosperity return a gift and never hear what cannot be done. They teach a large lesson.

YOGA and MIND
As a practitioner of yoga, self hypnosis and hypnotherapy, it becomes easy to see the union. Yoga means union of body and mind. Hypnotherapy trains the mind to serve, not to enslave.
When practicing yoga, the body is trained slowly to do what the mind tells it to. At first a shoulder stand seems difficult, but after some practice, it becomes a flowing part of who you are. When I first started years ago in a younger body, I could not come near the idea of moving my legs up over my head in a shoulder stand and onto the floor behind my head. Now it is a daily practice. I concentrate and feel my body responding slowly and know with each slow movement of the body directed by the mind, I can feel self control and the power of body and mind in unison. And with this practice, I can choose to improve and challenge daily.
When practicing hypnotherapy or self hypnosis, we observe our thoughts and can feel the effect on the body and our unfolding life. In encouraging others, we encourage ourselves. Life is a boomerang in that way. Observe how you talk to yourself. Self doubt is natural and good for keeping ego in balance. Source wants you to know and seek truth in all things. Attempting something new trains the mind to move forward through error and just when you think "I am no good at this", ask if it is something you really want or need. If the answer is yes, then nothing can stop you. Never put barriers around your potential in this way. Comparing yourself to others, you will build walls that constrain your personal gifts and potential. Keep these thoughts in mind and observe when you go off track, then get back on.
Our gifts are many. If we make a daily practice of stretching a bit, both mind and body, personal success and achievement happens. But this is not for the purpose of showcasing for others, but to realize the power and connection to Source. This is how we tame the ego and increase the awareness of our part in the great plan. It truly is a miracle how each individual has arrived in the here and now. Billions of years of evolution and here you are! The ego is a heavy burden to carry around and it creates stress for the individual as well as others. Taming the ego is not an easy task, but again with practice, the soul is lighter, laws of attraction work to your advantage and your current and currency realize abundance and joy.
Often I have related to my clients that they use about as much of their potential as is in the tip of the baby finger. And this is true. The mind gets clouded with non useful information and the body follows. This is the culture we live in. You can still be cool and significant by living "right". In fact those you admire for their success have done this. Luck comes from alignment with source and working toward goals. Why not do for yourself what you admire in others.
Test the mind and body and observe what you can accomplish. Prove to yourself that the limits you think are real are actually mostly self imposed. Practice the union of yoga/mind in what ever you do and have the courage to challenge yourself. It really is a win~win life after all.

SELF TALK
Take a little break, breath deeply and enjoy these tips!
The way you speak to yourself has more power and energy than most any influence in your life. How you see yourself is exactly how you speak to yourself and vice versa.
Do you behave with over confidence to cover for your fears? Do you often tell yourself that you cannot accomplish something that you greatly desire to do or have? Do you awaken often with a gnawing feeling of insecurity?
You likely learned self talk from parents, teachers, peers, ...and culture; often by way of media and advertising. In order to change your self talk for desired success and self improvement, YOU must take over the script. But do it with realism and eliminate false expectation or ideas floated by the current of culture.
Using these simple steps will transform your energy and self view. Start now, then observe and test your daily progress. Make mental note of how others treat you and how the small things seem to "go more your way."
Life is about flow, not resistance. Think of an infant as teacher. You were once an infant who first failed, then succeeded at walking, talking and understanding life in your own sphere. You naturally worked at what you had to without doubt and only a bit of fear. You fell, got up and learned a new language by the time you were three or four years old. Think of that part of yourself the next time you hesitate to move forward toward your dreams.
Four Simple Steps
1) FEEL vs. AM When you experience an uncomfortable feeling such as sadness for no apparent reason: Tell yourself that you FEEL sad. Never tell yourself or any other human being that you are sad or I am sad. Feelings are fleeting and can be processed through heart, mind and logic. We all feel different things at different times, so don't identify with feelings that will not serve you. Better to work through with "For some reason, I 'feel' sad right now. I will have a brief look at it and go on with my business. It is just a feeling. Suddenly as I become engaged with what I am doing, I no longer seem to feel sad. Therefore I am not sad, but just felt that way briefly. Sadness is a part of life that comes with loss and disappointment. Be real and congruent with the feeling and allow it to take its course when life's challenges present themselves. Time creates healing, peace, enlightenment, and new opportunities as you allow your life to move forward.
2) "I Could never Be or Do." 'Never say never' as the saying goes. I have often heard people tell themselves that they could never do, have or be something that they desire. Telling yourself you could never be what it is you have a secret desire to do or be will assure your defeat. You watch great dancers or observe a beautiful painting and moan to yourself or to a companion that "you could never". If you desire is strong enough and it is truly something that you want, you CAN. If your "I could never" comes from a place of desire where the thing is too distant and your desire is not deep enough to attain it, or comes from envy, then it is not really yours anyway and you are just submitting to a defeatist moan because maybe you want to have everything. Accept your gifts piece by piece and all of your TRUE desires will come to pass with your work and dedication. Observe how your own words can make you feel frustrated. Act on your power to change them and allow the feeling of confidence this simple act can bring.
3) Breathe again now and smile. The Laws of Attraction prove that the better you feel about yourself the more you attract to you. Give yourself a break and smile at yourself. You deserve your smile and giving it away to others will send another one back to you. Remember that the more you encourage and are positive toward others, that "good feeling" energy is incorporated more deeply within you. Expect that energy from others. Keep your distance from those who talk about themselves at the expense of comfortable conversation. Unless you are a paid therapist or coach, you do not need to subject yourself to others' drama. There is virtue in selfishness. The more you grow, the more you are able to give. As you give yourself the gift of intelligent self talk, others will be the recipient of a more comfortable presence.
4) Simply this: Words to avoid. TRY implies fail; HOPE implies desperate circumstances; SHOULD discourages flow for yourself and others. Most people don't care to be told what they should do.
Instead: I will work to make it on time. (not "try"). I expect the best outcome. (I don't hope for things, I work toward my goals). I plan to take an art class. ( I plan to take an art class because I love art....If I don't love it, I do not need to do it).
Watch how you care for yourself. Much is revealed in your self talk. Your brain is a computer programmed by an adult you. Inputting the best programming and information will condition your brain work to for you not against you. Your thoughts are important! They ARE you.

THE WARRIOR PROCESS
Empowerment requires courage. The evolution of personal consciousness requires one key to open that door; courage It is the necessary element to self realization and self acceptance. Courage defines the personal journey. Action with courage fosters awareness and barriers between the self and the Divine Self begin to diminish. The true definition of courage is the challenge to become your true self; the accomplished self always testing the boundaries and opening the doors to personal desire and self realization, with logic and reason maintaining balance.
It is then that one realizes that aloneness is merely an illusion and that personal journey is in alignment with the One. The doors of perception open wide and responsibility for your insights or "knowingness" becomes the self-determined and aware process with the Divine partnership now undertaken.
Each day offers new challenges. The warrior process brings joy, and a vibrant and attractive energy of spirit.
"That moment when one definitely commits, then Providence moves too. Boldness has genius power and magic in it." ~GOETHE
"I have learned over the years that when one's mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear." ~Rosa Parks
